These sliders are the choice for those looking to run without silencing rings or to utilize the thinner #3 ring for a thockier sound. Without silencing rings these sliders give the standard Topre Travel distance of 4.0mm. The addition of #3 aftermarket silencing rings are genally agreed upon to not change the travel in a way that is noticable nor damages the domes with them installed.

A community favority, many people consider these the smoothest, best sliders Topre makes.  The Silencing ring dampens the upstroke noise creating what might be described as the most satisfying sounding keyboard switch ever made.

These sliders and their silencing rings are almost identical to the Purple version with a key difference: Longer "Legs" that purposefully reduce the travel. PFU says: "'S' stands for Speed and Silent".
