About
Conceived in November 2021, our journey has been one of relentless passion, refinement, and collaboration. Our keyboard kit is born from the commitment to perfection combined with the knowledge of a renowned keyboard designer and the foremost expert in EC PCBs. The culmination of our combined expertise was then placed into the skilled hands of five test builders, each offering invaluable feedback to elevate the keyboard's performance and feel. Two privileged clients had the opportunity to experience final our revision first-hand. One of them poignantly remarked, "I've been in a coding marathon this past week, and the sound and feel of this keyboard keeps resounding in my mind. It's truly what I've always wanted.👌"
Gasket mounts are no novelty in the world of MX-style keyboards. However, our offering stands as a beacon of distinction as the first-ever gasket-mounted Topre keyboard furnished with a stainless steel plate. Typical plate thickness for Topre keyboards ranges from 1-1.2mm - significantly thinner than their MX counterparts. This dictates that viable plate options must be crafted from materials such as steel, stainless steel, or brass. While competitors often opt for the convenience of aluminum plates with top-mounted configurations, resulting in inconsistent key feels across the board, we've embraced the challenge head-on. We set out to craft the best feeling keyboard in existence, and our gasket-mounted approach with superior material choice manifests that ambition.
Originally designed as an aftermarket case for the Realforce R2 keybards, the addition of an optional custom PCB seamlessly supports iconic Realforce TKL layouts from the Realforce 86u, 87u, 88u, and 91u. This homage to classic designs melds flawlessly into the modern flair and functionality through QMK/VIA/VIAL support. For the first time, these classic EC Realforce layouts we will be available without the large bezels of a standard Realforce.
Each board is engraved with a serial based and given out sequentially based on order number.
