Real carbon fiber meets Topre
Wrapped in authentic carbon fiber, built and finished to a standard that doesn't exist anywhere else, produced one at a time. This unit is the second our prototypes being released as we continue to refine the carbon fiber wrapping process in partnership with SMA Fabrication. Each board is a one-of-one piece; a unique combination of board, weave pattern, and finish that will never be repeated.

The Tune
Hand built, lubed and tuned by Unreal Keyboards as per The Definitive HHKB Topre Build and Mod Guide.

The Wrap
The shell is wrapped in authentic carbon fiber by SMA Fabrication. Unit 002 sports a plain weave pattern with a gloss finish. The wrap covers the entire exterior of the top and sides of the shell, transforming the look of the HHKB while preserving the original form factor, port access, and DIP switch functionality. The seam between top and bottom is cut after the wrap has been applied, ensuring a uniform and matching look.

About the Prototype Series
These first Carbon Series prototypes are being used to perfect the technique of wrapping carbon fiber to the standard HHKB shell. Each unit is unique as we test different materials and techniques, incorporating lessons learned from the one before it. Each prototype unit will be released sequentially: when one sells, the next becomes available.
