Why 105 for Topre springs
Krytox 105 is a pure fluorinated oil — no PTFE thickener, no grease consistency. That makes it the thinnest product in the Krytox lineup and the right choice anywhere you need lubrication without buildup. On Topre conical springs it soaks into the coils and eliminates spring ping without accumulating or migrating onto rubber domes or electrical contacts.
Unlike the grease variants, 105 is genuinely forgiving to apply. You cannot over-apply it on springs. Apply by hand — do not bag lube Topre springs as they tangle easily.
105 also works as a PCB lubricant for spring crunch if you already have it on hand and prefer not to reach for a separate product.

The thermal decomposition vapors of fluorinated polymers may cause polymer fume fever with flu-like symptoms. Wash hands thoroughly before smoking or handling tobacco products.
This lubricant cannot be cleaned with soap and water and is resistant to many solvents. Although chemically stable and non-hazardous under normal use, please wear gloves and place a protective drop cloth below your working surface. Spills are difficult to clean and the lubricant will transfer from hands to any surface touched. Clean up any spills with a microfiber cloth.
